Is there a new family addition in your future?

If it's of the four legged kind, we would like to urge you to consider adopting a pet from a local animal shelter.  Shelters have many wonderful cats and dogs, including purebreds and pedigreed animals. All they need is someone to love, and someone who will love them back.  

We will not accept advertising from any pet stores which obtain and sell pets from "puppy mills."   Before you go to a pet store, consider making a call or visit your local SPCA, Humane Society or Animal Shelter.

Open your home and heart to a pet from a shelter.  You'll be glad you did.  Many shelters now have pictures and descriptions of available pets that are on-line at  their web sites.  

Don't forget that many shelters can often use donations of food, leashes, and naturally, money, so even if you can't find room in your home for a pet, perhaps you can find room in your heart for a donation.
