Here's why...
Many communities regulate the size of lot, size of structure,
location on property, setbacks from the road or property lines,
foundations and supports, and a myriad of other items.
Generally speaking, most double wides are set up on foundations,
and as such, become "Real Property" and are thereby permissible.
With single wide mobile homes, it is much more challenging.
