All members of the PMA Alumni Association, along with members of the Eastern Military Academy Alumni Association were invited to participate in Alumni day at New York Military Academy in Cornwall, NY on Sunday, May 18, 2003.  It was a wonderful day for a parade, and an opportunity for those present to take a step back in time.

We wish to thank Maj. Gen. James M. Lyle, NYMA Superintendent, along with the staff and alumni of NYMA for extending the invitiation and making us feel welcome on this very special day.

We also wish to thank Benny Jacobellis, PMA '64 for bringing the official flag to the ceremony.  Benny's family had originally donated this flag to the academy in 1964, and this was the official flag of our academy until it closed in the spring of 1968. Upon learning that the academy was closing, Benny's father came to the auction and obtained the flag, which Benny has preserved ever since.  For the first time in 35 years, our alumni had the opportunity to march in a parade under the flag of PMA.  Thanks again, Benny. The flag really made it special.
